Our Self-Empowerment for Total Health program provides hands-on tools that you will be able to implement immediately following each meeting. In each session, you will explore a specific topic and learn strategies to overcome the challenges that you have faced. Guided exercises will allow you to rehearse newly-acquired skills in a safe, supportive setting. At the end of each meeting, you will make realistic plans for change and create strategies for obstacles that have prevented you from living a fulfilled life.

 

The Self-Empowerment for Total Health consists of the following 10 sessions*:
1.    Clarifying who you are and what you want
2.    Understanding what gets in the way of living a fulling life
3.    Learning how to listen to yourself instead of others
4.    Identifying your worth
5.    Accepting the whole you
6.    Coping with negative situations
7.    Gaining feelings of competence
8.    Overcoming the power of fear and guilt
9.    Letting others know what you need
10.    Living empowered every day

*Sessions can be modified based on individual needs

If your situation warrants more in-depth therapeutic services, we also offer psychotherapy to address topics related to self-empowerment. Through listening and effective therapeutic techniques, we are able to build trust and foster healing for clients living with self-esteem, depression, or anxiety issues. Our solution-focused, interactive process emphasizes inner strengths and resources. Clients learn how to self-motivate, take initiative in their actions, and feel confident in their choices, resulting in greater self-reliance, empowerment, and independence.

 

Whether you benefit from skill-building or psychotherapy services, you will learn to understand the origins of self-defeating thoughts and learn to implement positive self-care strategies. Each individualized session focuses on particular skills to further the development of greater confidence, self-reliance and self-motivation. Gaining mastery of self-motivation, initiative, and independence will allow you to start living a more fulfilled life.
