J.R. Lippold

J.R. Lippold, MA, MSW


J.R. holds a MA in Gerontology/Public Policy and MSW. He currently is a Resident in training and working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). J.R. has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, and families in crisis, as well as adolescents, young adults, and members of the LGBTQ community. His unique and direct approach draws from his multi-faceted experiences to provide insight into how environmental, mental/emotional, and health-related factors can influence an individual's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors - all factors that can lead to emotional distress, anxiety, and depression. As a clinician, J.R. partners with individuals to uncover their strengths to maximize self-worth, self-confidence, self-sufficiency, and one’s identity. He incorporates motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral (CBT), strengths perspective, reality, and talk therapies to teach coping skills and resiliency to improve one's outlook, relationships, and quality of life.

Ingrid Maria Middleton

Ingrid Maria Middleton, LCSW, MSW, MA, MS

Clinical Social Worker, Anthropologist, Author and Artist

After graduating with her MSW from Washington University, she went on to complete a second Masters in Art which followed with a 15-year focus on treating individuals, couples and families. After a third graduate degree in anthropology from University of Utah, her specialty in family systems facilitated her connection to patients in a deeply cultural and meaningful way. After writing the book, "The Secret of Healing by Touch" Ingrid toured and lectured across the United States, providing both therapy and health assessments to audiences large and small. Her passion is in psycho dynamic approaches to therapy and in the care and guidance for those struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, life stress, grief and the never ending quest for individuation and growth. She has lived and worked in Hawaii for ten years along with her daughter, Kate. They now make their home in Virginia and Maryland, anticipating many more wonderful adventures.

Ashley Ranellone

Ashley Ranellone, MS, CNS

Clinical Nutrition Specialist

Ashley is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and a graduate of the Maryland University of Integrative Health with a Masters in Nutrition Science and Integrative Health. Ashley recognizes that the foundation of health is what we eat and our dietary choices can either steer us towards health or away from it. She helps her clients reach their goals and achieve wellness by providing a personalized approach to nutrition therapy. Ashley considers all aspects of a client’s lifestyle when creating a realistic nutrition plan that can include meal planning, grocery shopping tours, supplement recommendations, nutrition education and cognitive behavior strategies. She is also experienced in giving workshops and cooking demos on topics related to nutrition and integrative health.

Crista Studer

Crista Studer, MS, RDN, LDN, NCC

Registered Dietitian & Psychotherapist

Crista obtained her undergraduate degree in Dietetics from The Ohio State University and completed her Dietetic Internship with an Emphasis in Pediatrics at Saint Louis University. While working at an inpatient eating disorder treatment center, Crista discovered the important connection between mental health counseling and its impact on recovery from an eating disorder. Crista obtained her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She is currently a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and is working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Crista has the unique ability to combine nutrition with exposure therapy while helping clients discover the root cause of their illness. Utilizing a team approach, Crista works with increasing self-esteem, body-image, depression/anxiety, and life skills through individual, couples, and family therapy. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, American Counseling Association, and International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians.
