Our Life Transition Management for Total Health program provides hands-on tools that you will be able to implement immediately following each meeting. In each session, you will learn about a specific topic and work with a clinician to determine how to apply this information to your own live . Sessions will include exercises that will allow you to practice your new skills, and you will end each session making plans for how to fit the new skills into your daily life.
The program consists of the following 10 sessions*:

1.    Defining the change
2.    Surviving the unknown
3.    Living in the now
4.    Understanding your relationship with control
5.    Coping with negative emotions
6.    Defining yourself
7.    Recognizing where your value comes from
8.    Maximizing your strengths
9.    Integrating self care
10.    Living in your “new” skin every day

 

If your situation warrants more in-depth therapeutic services, we also offer psychotherapy to address topics related to life transitions. We focus on maintaining an overall balance of health and positive outlook while dealing with the life changes. Individuals can learn to overcome barriers to success in any stage of life: career changes, new marriages, divorce, entering or leaving college, retirement, adding new children to the family, among many others.
